
FAYETTE, Mo. -- Central Methodist scored eight times on 24 shots on Saturday afternoon to defeat the Bellevue University women's soccer team 8-0 at Davis Field.

Anika Kallash scored twice in each half and Zoe Jessen added a brace to lead Central Methodist to a convincing win.
The Bruins put themselves in a hole quickly, conceding twice in the game's first two minutes, and were unable to recover.
The game was the seventh – eight, including a friendly – of nine (10) during a brutal stretch of just over four weeks for the Bruins.
Sabrina Staufenbiel stopped six shots in goal for the Bruins who were out-shot 24-1 in the game.
Emily Weyant recorded the Bruins' lone shot in the 84th minute.

"Central Methodist were a very good outfit; we let ourselves down conceding two goals very quickly. We have to all do more as a staff and as a team. Before today we played seven games in 18 days so we are looking forward to being able to take some time and work on what we need."
