BELLEVUE, Neb. -- Seven different Bruins found the back of the net to lead the (RV) Bellevue University women's soccer team to a 7-2 win over Central Christian College on Saturday afternoon at Bellevue Soccer Club.

Bellevue continues to showcase their high-powered offense as they eclipsed last season's goal total in Saturday's win over Central Christian. Over the course of the last five games the Bruins have scored 27 goals after scoring 25 in 16 games a season ago.
The Bruins wasted no time in opening the scoring with Emily Weyant's fourth minute goal. Saskia Pepel played a long ball out of the back to Maiwut Dar. Dar then sent a cross from the end line to Weyant who then one-timed the shot into the net.
BU doubled up their lead in the 22nd minute as Reyvin Hernandez sent a free kick into the box that was headed into the CCC goal by Maria Tome Flores.
Hernandez added a goal of her own in the 38th minute when she to a first touch shot off Rylan Mahoney's pass.
Dar pushed the Bruin lead to 4-0 in the 47th minute, dribbling into the box on the near side of the field and curling her attempt inside the far post.
A pair of goals from Jordan Meier in the 51st and 57th minutes saw the Tigers inch back into the game. Rachel Schlagel assisted the first goal with a free kick that allowed Meier to volley the ball to herself in traffic to create space for the shot. Meier did the work on her own for the second goal, dribbling to the edge of the 18-yard box and unleashing a high shot that snuck under the cross bar.
In the 70th minute Pepel dribbled forward before laying off a ball to Kylee Mastromonaco that she beat the keeper on high and to the far side.
Sofia Colvin padded the lead in the 76th minute with a corner kick that bent inside the near post and deflected off the keeper's hands and into the net.
Austin Perez iced the victory with a PK goal in the 83rd minute.
Sabrina Staufenbiel made four saves in goal to earn the win for the Bruins.
Charis Bell stopped 12 shots for the Tigers who were out-shot 31-9 (19-6 on goal) in the game.
