BELLEVUE, Neb. -- Bellevue University women's soccer coach Andy Nicolarsen announced today that the Bruins' game against Hastings, scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 5, has been postponed.
Coach Nicolarsen cited ongoing inclement weather and adverse field conditions in the teams' mutual decision to postpone the match.
The match is expected to be rescheduled. The new date and time will be announced later.
Bellevue (1-2-0) won their most recent contest by routing McPherson College by a 4-0 margin. Kylee Mastromonaco scored twice while Reyvin Hernandez and Laura Cook each found the back of the net.
BU's next scheduled match is against Concordia University Nebraska on Tuesday, Sept. 11. Kick-off is slated for 5 p.m. at Bellevue Soccer Club.
