SIOUX CENTER, Iowa -- Forwards Michelle Dolder and Maiwut Dar each scored a pair of goals and Lauren Clark joined in the offensive out-pouring to lead the Bellevue University women's soccer team to a comfortable 5-1 win over Dordt College in the Pizza Ranch Classic on Friday evening.

The win was the first of the season for the Bruins (1-2-0) who looked strong in their first two matches but came away without anything to show for their efforts.

Bellevue took a 2-1 lead into half despite falling behind in the 24th minute. After Dordt earned a penalty kick, Raquelle Mouw converted from the spot to send the Defenders to the early lead.

The score remained 1-0 until the 35th minute when Dolder and Reyvin Hernandez teamed up for their first of two goals in a span of 2:35. Just a short time later Hernandez fed Dolder, again, for a goal to put the Bruins up 2-1 and taking momentum into the break.

That lead would be more than enough for the Bruins who went on to post a 3-spot in the second half while holding Dordt scoreless.

Dar scored her first of two goals in the 51st minute when she drilled home a rebound off Dolder's saved shot. Clark added another goal just 1:10 later. That 53rd minute strike was also unassisted.

Dar wrapped up the scoring in the 55th minute with her second goal of the match off a pass from Clark.

Bailey Petzoldt and Laurence Rodier combined on seven saves for the Bruins. BU doubled Dordt up on both shots (20-10) and shots on goal (16-8).

Bellevue returns to the pitch with a 7:15 p.m. fixture tomorrow evening at Northwestern College as they wrap up their stay at the Pizza Ranch Classic.
