YORK, Neb. -- Freshman Jordyn Seidel scored her first career goal and added a pair of assists while seniors Betsy Fischenich and Michelle Dolder each scored hat tricks to lead as the Bellevue University women's soccer team scored a season-high eight goals on their way to defeating York College, 8-0, in non-conference action on Tuesday afternoon.

Freshman Jordyn Seidel started the scoring onslaught in the 15th minute with her first collegiate goal for Bellevue. Sophomore Madison Lambert sent in a cross from the outside which went across the goal that Seidel finished from 12 yards out.

The Bruins doubled their advantage in the 20th minute on Fischenich's sixth strike of the year. Sophomore Kaleigh Young passed a ball down the left side to Seidel whose cross landed in the middle of the penalty area and Fischenich finished from eight yards.

In the 23rd minute sophomore Kristin Hanson sent in a free kick from midfield that connected with Dolder inside the 18-yard box. Dolder sent a strike past the keeper for her sixth goal of the season.

Fischenich added her second strike of the match in the 35th minute off Seidel's second assist. Seidel crossed the ball inside and, following a missed clearance by the Panthers, Fischenich corralled the ball and beat the keeper to the far corner.

Dolder netted her second goal of the afternoon in the 73rd minute, ripping a shot back and into the upper corner, for a 7-0 BU lead. She completed her hat trick with a 76th minute strike.

Sophomore Bailey Petzoldt wasn't challenged often but was up to the task when she was, stopping the lone shot on goal that she face for BU to improve her record to 3-1 on the year.
