McPHERSON, Kan. -- The Bellevue University women's soccer team used goals from Rebecca Fairfax, Krystyn Yancone, and Erika Roberts en route to a 3-0 shutout at Central Christian College Saturday afternoon in the final regular season match of the 2010 season.
The Bruins improved to 12-4 overall and finished with a perfect 5-0 conference mark to capture the MCAC regular season title. Bellevue will host the MCAC Tournament this Friday and Saturday, Nov. 5-6, at Tranquility Park. Pairings and game times will be announced on Monday.
Central Christian fell to 6-9-3 on the season and 1-3-1 in conference play.
Freshman goalkeeper Ana Price improved to 11-3 overall, recording her fifth shut out of the season as the Bruin defense did not allow a shot in the match.
