CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. -- Freshmen Jayme Harmelink and Christina VonRiesen have both been named to the National Golf Coaches Association (NGCA) All-American Scholar Division III Team announced today.
The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team is a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5.
A first team all-MCAC selection, Harmelink recorded two top 10 finishes. The Plattsmouth, Neb., native is majoring in psychology.
VonRiesen, who was also named a MCAC Scholar-Athlete, won two individual titles while being named to the first team all-conference squad.
The Bruins finished their inaugural season claiming the MCAC Tournament championship along with four tournament titles.
