MADISON, S.D. -- For the ninth time this season and the 33rd time in her career, senior Olivia Galas has earned North Star Athletic Association Setter of the Week honors for her performances in the Bruins' three conference home victories last week.
Galas guided the Bruins to sweeps over Dakota State and Valley City State and a five-set come-from-behind win over Dickinson State.
On the week, Galas averaged 11.27 assists, 3.18 digs, and 1.82 kills per set while adding six total blocks.
She recorded a double-double with 44 assists and 17 digs in the 3-0 win over Dakota State. She also added five kills and a service ace in that victory.
Galas followed that up with 40 assists, five kills, eight digs, and three blocks in the sweep over the Vikings.
Galas ended the week with her third triple-double of the season as BU rebounded from a 2-0 deficit to pull out a five-set win over Dickinson State. She finished with 40 assists, 10 kills, and 10 digs as the Bruins recorded their sixth-straight victory.
Bellevue (21-6, 9-1 NSAA) will travel to Aberdeen, S.D., this Friday, Oct. 28, for a 7 p.m. match at Presentation College.
