BELLEVUE, Neb, -- After three months off, the Bellevue University women's soccer team returns to this pitch with a pair of games in Arkansas against American Midwest Conference foes.
Bellevue faces off with Lyon College (0-0-0/0-0-0 AMC) on Saturday, Feb. 20 at 6:30 p.m. The game, to be played at J. Marshall Huser Field in Batesville, Ark., will serve as the season-opener for the Scots.
The Bruins get Sunday off before heading to Walnut Ridge, Ark. to face Williams Baptist University (1-7-0/1-5-0 AMC) on Monday, Feb. 22 at 10 a.m. from the WBU Soccer Field.
Bellevue fared well in their eight games during the fall portion of the schedule, posting a 6-2-0 record and conceding just two goals – one a penalty and the other a strike from distance in overtime. The Bruins have seven games scheduled in the spring portion of the schedule prior to the A.I.I. Tournament, which is scheduled for Apr. 9-10 in Lawrenceville, Ga.
