For the second time this season, senior Marilia Lages has been named the Association of Independent Institutions' (A.I.I.) women's soccer Player of the Week for the week ending Nov. 8.
Lages found the back of the net in Bellevue's 1-0 win against A.I.I.'s Viterbo University. The forward/midfielder also played strong in the midfield as the Bruins handed Viterbo (8-1) its first loss of the season.
Lages is tied for the team lead with four goals, while her 10 points are tops for the Bruins.
The Bruins will close out the fall portion of the season with a 3 p.m. match at Waldorf University on Wednesday, Nov. 11 in Forest City, Iowa.
