Bruins, MCAC participate in Canned Food Drive

As part of an NAIA "Champions of Character" initiative, the Bellevue University women's soccer team along with York College, Central Christian College, and Oklahoma Wesleyan University, organized a Canned Food Drive during the 2010 MCAC Women's Soccer Tournament on Nov. 5-6 at Tranquility Park in Omaha.

All participating teams gathered canned food items prior to the tournament and brought them to their respective games during the tournament. In addition to that, all fans who presented a canned food item were granted free admission into the tournament.

The food was donated to the Bellevue Food Pantry.
