KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Senior Dominika Gradecka was named the NAIA Women's Golfer of the Week for her performance last week in the Concordia Spring Invite.
Gradecka placed first out of 90 golfers at the Concordia Spring Invite. She fired a 4-under 68 in the second round to erase a six-stroke deficit and win the individual title by three strokes. Gradecka finished the event at 4-over (80-68—148). She also helped her team place third out of 15 teams.
The 4-under score from Gradecka is the best score, relative to par, by a Bruin golfer in program history. In the second round, she birdied a tournament single-best five holes, bogeyed one, and shot par on the other 12 holes.
The Bruins will next compete at the North Star Athletic Association Championship on April 26-27 in Onalaska, Wis. The tournament will be played at the Cedar Creek Golf Club.
