Gradecka named finalist for Arnold Palmer Cup selection

Senior Dominika Gradecka (Oborniki Slaskie, Poland) has been named a finalist for selection to the prestigious Arnold Palmer Cup. 

The Arnold Palmer Cup will be held June 11-13 at Rich Harvest Farms, outside Chicago. The first date of competition is Friday, June 11 and will consist of mixed four-ball matches. The second and third rounds will be contested on June 12 with foursomes in the morning and mixed foursomes in the afternoon. The final day will consist of singles matches. 

The first three men's and women's individuals for both the United States and International teams (six players per side) will be announced on Wednesday, March 3 on Golf Channel during the Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by MasterCard. These selections will be committee selections. The remainder of the teams will be selected and announced the week of May 3. For 2021 only, all selections shall be committee picks, with the exception of the four coaches picks (one USA man, one USA woman, one International man, one International woman).

Competing in her first season as a Bruin last fall, Gradecka captured the Sydney Cox Invitational on Oct. 12-13 and was the runner-up at the Iowa Western Community College Intercollegiate Showcase on Sept. 28-29. She was named the North Star Athletic Association's Golfer of the Week on Sept. 30. 

She currently leads the 2020-21 Bruins with a 72 strokes-per-round average and is ranked No. 3 individually in the NAIA by Golfstat.
