MADISON, S.D. -- After her first performance as a Bruin, Dominika Gradecka was honored as the North Star Athletic Association's Women's Golfer of the Week for her performance at the Iowa Western Intercollegiate Showcase earlier this week.
Gradecka finished second in the Iowa Western Intercollegiate Showcase (5,805 yards, par-72). She shot a round of 74 (2-over-par) in both the first and second rounds, finishing the tournament with a score of 148 strokes (4-over-par). A total of 35 golfers competed in the tournament.
Gradecka's two rounds were highlighted by an eagle and five birdies over the 36 holes.
Bellevue will next compete on Oct. 12-13 when they travel to Oklahoma City for the Sydney Cox Invitational.
