Similar to the Bruin men's golf season, the Bellevue University women's golf squad saw its 2019-20 campaign cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Unlike the men, the BU women did manage to get one spring competition under their belt before seeing their season suspended.

The Bruins placed in the top-five in all six tournaments during the year, including one victory and one runner-up finish.

Bellevue started the season with a second-place showing in the BU Fall Invitational played at BU's home course, the Platteview Country Club. Allison Temple captured the individual title after posting a 13-over par total of 157 (76-81). Her performance earned her NSAA Golfer of the Week accolades.

BU's second tournament of the year featured two ranked teams at the Northwest Iowa National Invitational. The Bruins finished fifth overall with Mikayla King earning the top Bruin performance on the week, placing ninth at 14-over par. She carded three-straight sub-80 rounds in the tourney.

The Bruins collected the top three individual performances at the Bent Tree Intercollegiate Classic as BU captured its lone tournament title of the 2019-20 season. Madison Brooks earned NSAA Golfer of the Week accolades after winning the tournament at 13-over par with rounds of 82 and 75. Tylah Saifoloi placed second after shooting BU's top round of the tournament with a 2-over 74 in the final round.

At the NCAA Division I-laden Creighton Classic, the Bruins finished fourth with Brooks turning in the top BU performance individually. Brooks placed 11th at 15-over par with rounds of 80 and 81. Bellevue was the only non-Division I team in the field.

In the final BU tournament of the fall season, the Bruins placed third in the 13-team Sydney Cox Invitational being played at Oklahoma City's Lincoln Park Golf Course. Freshman Jirattiphon Phongthanachalitkun was the top BU performer, finishing at a team season-low 3-over par for a seventh-place showing individually. Phongthanachalitkun shot the Bruins' best individual round of the year with a 1-under 71 in the second round, earning her NSAA Golfer of the Week recognition.

The Bruins did participate in one spring tournament, the BU Spring Break Classic at Landa Park Golf Course in New Braunfels, Texas. Temple finished in seventh at 16-over par and Saifoloi was right behind her at 17-over, good for eighth place as the Bruins finished third overall as a team behind nationally-ranked Texas Wesleyan and Wayland Baptist.

Bellevue's lone senior, Madison Brooks, will return in 2020-21 as the NAIA has granted an additional season of competition to all spring-sport athletes who saw their seasons cut short due to the coronavirus pandemic.
