KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- For the second time this week Bellevue University senior Elexis Martinez (Omaha, Neb.) has been named an All-American, this time earning the distinction from the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics, as announced by the NAIA's national office early Thursday evening.

The NAIA recognition marks the third-straight year in which Martinez has been selected to the NAIA's honorable mention All-America team.

She currently rates atop the BU career list in scoring (1,674), scoring average (13.5 PPG), rebounds (760), blocked shots (116), field goal percentage (46.2%), and games played (124). In addition to holding career marks in several categories, she also ranks second in rebounding average (6.1 RPG) and third in steals (116).
