Hall signs to play hoops at BU

BELLEVUE, Neb. -- Bellevue University head women's basketball coach Dave Denly announced today the signing of Aminah Hall (Denton, Texas/Braswell HS) to a Letter of Intent to continue her academic and athletic careers at BU beginning in the fall.

Hall, a 5-10 guard/forward comes to Bellevue from Braswell High School in Denton, Texas where she helped the Tigers to a Bi-District title and District co-championship this past season. In her career she helped Braswell to a 58-49 record, including a 26-7 mark during the 2019-20 campaign.

As her senior this past year, Hall averaged 7.6 points and 2.7 rebounds per game. She shot 35.7 percent from the floor and 60.3 percent at the free throw line while burying 33 three-pointers. Additionally, she totaled 28 steals for the year.

Over the course of her junior and senior seasons, Hall averaged 8.1 points, drained 74 three-pointers, and swiped 45 steals.

Hall is the first announced signee of the 2020 recruiting class and the program's first from the Lone Star State.

In just the fourth season of its existence, the Bruins posted their second-straight 20-win campaign in 2019-20 and claimed a share of the NSAA Regular Season title for the second consecutive season.
