BU-Midland canceled; Bruins to face OKWU Thursday

BELLEVUE, Neb. -- Wednesday's men's soccer tilt between Bellevue and Midland at Papillion Landing has been canceled. The Bruins will now travel to face Oklahoma Wesleyan on Thursday at 2 p.m.

BU's has begun the season with four-straight wins for the first time since 2010 and just the fourth time in program history.

The Bruins are led by reigning A.I.I. Player of the Week Inaki Aldao who currently leads the nation in game-winning goals (3) while ranking second nationally in both goals (7) and points (15).

OKWU's Stefan Cvetanovic is the NAIA leader in both goals (11) and points (24), trailing only Aldao for the lead in game-winning goals (2).

Bellevue and Oklahoma Wesleyan most recently met last October, a 7-3 Eagle victory, but BU leads the all-time series with an 18-7-2 mark in head-to-head play.
