Oosterhof nets first NSAA Weekly Honor

MADISON, S.D. -- Bellevue University junior golfer Floris-Jan Oosterhof (Zwolle, Overijssel, Netherlands) has been named the North Star Athletic Association Men's Golfer of the Week, as announced by the league office.

Oosterhof registered a second place overall finish to lead the Bruins to share their first team title of the season.

He was one of just two golfers to shoot under par in all three rounds, beginning with a pair of 1-under rounds on Monday and culminating with a 3-under final round on Tuesday. His third round 69 marked the second-best round of his collegiate career and his 54-hole 211 was his best three-round tournament score.

A first team all-NSAA selection in 2019, the weekly honor is the first of Oosterhof's Bruin career.

The Bruin golf team returns to play at the Ryerson Fall Classic at Bos Landen Golf Club in Pella, Iowa. First round action begins Friday at 11 a.m. with second round play set for 8:30 a.m. on Saturday.
