LINCOLN, Neb. -- Diego Gudino fired a 1-under par 70 to help increase the Bellevue University men's golf team's lead after three rounds of the North Star Athletic Association Championships Monday at the Wildneress Ridge Golf Club.
The tournament is a continuation of the NSAA Fall Qualifier, a 36-hole event, that took place on Sept. 28-29 in Oxbow, N.D.
The Bruins' three-round team score of 911 leads second-place Viterbo by 14 strokes.
Gudino has the individual lead in the tournament by eight strokes over teammate Juan Gomez and Waldorf's Hugo Becerra. Fernando Arzate is 10 strokes back after shooting a 5-over 76 on the day.
The tournament will conclude on Tuesday with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start.
