SHEBOYGAN, Wis. -- The Bellevue University men's golf team improved 26 strokes from Monday's first round and moved up three spots to finish in ninth place at the 19-team Kohler Collegiate Classic played at the Whistling Straits Golf Course.
Bellevue finished with a two-round total of 642 (334-308), 36 strokes behind tournament champion Keiser University, which registered a total of 315-291 -- 606.
Fernando Arzate shot the top BU round on the day, recording an even-par 72 to finish in a tie for 21st place with a 36-hole total of 158 (86-72). Diego Gudino also finished in a tie for 21st place with a 78-80 - 158 total.
Keiser's Adam Andreasson captured the individual title with a 4-over total of 148 (79-69).
This concludes Bellevue's fall season,. The Bruins will resume action in the spring.
