TOPEKA, Kan. -- NCAA Division II Washburn University outscored the Bellevue University men's basketball team by 28 points in the second half en route to a 94-55 win Saturday afternoon before 1,455 fans at Lee Arena.

Washburn, ranked No. 2 in NCAA II, improved to 6-0 while the Bruins fell to 6-4.

The Ichabods shot 51.4 percent while holding BU to a season-low 29.8 percent shooting.

Dominique Grant paced the Bruins with 14 points while Darius Robinson added 11 points and four rebounds.

Jamil Goodwin led BU on the glass, recording eight rebounds to go along with seven points.

After BU scored the first four points of the game, the Ichabods would use a 13-4 run six minutes into the opening period to take a 13-8 lead. WU led the remaining of the half as they took a 37-26 halftime lead. WU shot 42.9 percent from the field while holding the Bruins to just 29.2 percent shooting in the first half.

The Ichabods scored the first six points of the second half as they led by double-digits the entire second stanza. WU led by as many as 42 points as they posted the 39-point win, 94-55.

WU was paced by Will McNeill's season-high 34 points.

The Bruins will return to action on Friday, Dec. 7 when they welcome William Penn University to the Gordon Lozier Athletic Center for a 7:00 p.m. non-conference contest.
