Bruins fall to No. 5 Cardinal Stritch, 78-64

HUNTINGTON, Ind. -- Fifth-ranked Cardinal Stritch University defeated the Bellevue University men's basketball team 78-64 Friday evening in the Huntington University Classic at the Cardinal Field House. 

The Bruins (2-2) will play Concordia (Mich.) University in the consolation game on Saturday (Nov. 10) at 12 p.m. central time. 

Jamil Goodwin led the Bruins with 18 points and seven rebounds. He was the only Bruin in double figures. Darius Robinson chipped in nine points, while Derrick Davis, Dominique Grant and Rolands Narkis added eight points apiece. 

The Wolves were led by Derek Semenas' 28 points and nine rebounds. 

CSU hit 5-of-9 3-pointers in the first half, building a 12-point advantage at the intermission. 

The Wolves led by as many as 22 points in the second half, before the Bruins closed the game on a 13-5 run to close the gap to 14 points at 78-64.
