BELLEVUE, Neb. -- Bellevue University was ranked among the top 10 colleges for eSports and Gaming according to valuegamers.com.
Bellevue added eSports to their newest intercollegiate sport ahead of the 2017/18 school year with League of Legends as the featured title. This year, BU will add Overwatch to their eSports offerings.
The Bruins League of Legends team enjoyed a successful debut campaign that saw them reach the AVGL Collegiate League of Legends Championship knockout stage and the RIOT College League of Legends North Conference Playoffs.
Coach Alex Rogers expects the League of Legends team to build on the success of their strong first season and for the Overwatch team to come out with a similarly strong showing in their first year of competition.
Schools were ranked on seven criteria; academics, campus, food, location, nightlife, professors, and value.
