Daryan Whaler

Daryan Whaler begins her fourth season as an assistant athletic trainer at Bellevue University in 2017-18. She primarily works with the women's soccer and softball teams.

She graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Athletic Training from the University of Kansas and will be pursuing a Master’s of Science in Healthcare Administration at Bellevue.

Whaler collected a great deal of clinical experience as an undergraduate student worker covering the KU football, volleyball, and swimming and diving teams. She also worked for a semester at Baker University as a student-assistant covering the sports of football, men’s and women’s soccer, volleyball, and wrestling.

She also worked numerous KU summer and preseason athletic camps for the football, men’s basketball, and volleyball teams. She has gained additional experience working for the NAIA National Wrestling Tournament, Professional Bull Riding, and Kansas Relays.

Whaler is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association and the Mid-America Athletic Trainers’ Association.
