CRETE, Neb. -- Lorena Ramirez set a school record in the 3,000 meters to highlight the Bruins' performances Friday at the Fred Beile Classic held at the Fuhrer Fieldhouse on the Doane University campus.
Lorena Ramirez lowered her own school-record time in the 3,000 meters by 37 seconds, placing sixth in 11:35.12.
Isabelle Gonzalez reduced her 800-meter school record, recording a 2:40.18.
Dayana and Diana Montano-Salama established season bests in the 1,000 meters with 3:45.47 and 4:08.25 respectively.
