In the final year of the North Star Athletic Association, the top-seeded and fifth-ranked Bellevue University volleyball squad captured its first-ever NSAA Tournament title with a 3-0 (25-15, 25-19, 25-23) sweep over third-seeded Dakota State University Saturday afternoon in the Gordon Lozier Athletic Center.

The top-seeded Bellevue University volleyball team advanced to the North Star Athletic Association Tournament Championship match with a 3-0 (25-16, 25-12, 25-13) sweep over fourth-seeded Valley City State University Friday night in the Gordon Lozier Athletic Center.  

Led by junior rightside hitter Kealy Kiviniemi, the Bellevue University volleyball squad placed six members on the 2024 all-North Star Athletic Association volleyball teams released today in conjunction with the NSAA Volleyball Tournament. In addition, Trish Siedlik was named the NSAA Coach of the Year. 

For the second-straight week, the sixth-ranked Bellevue University volleyball team has swept the North Star Athletic Association weekly awards with the same three players being honored. Kealy Kiviniemi was named the NSAA Attacker of the Week. Mila Aiwohi was honored as the NSAA Setter of the Week, and Taylan Keefer captured the NSAA Defender of the Week honors. 

The sixth-ranked Bellevue University volleyball squad claimed a share of the North Star Athletic Association regular-season title on Saturday with a 3-0 (25-10, 25-23, 25-15) sweep at Mayville State University. 

The sixth-ranked Bellevue University volleyball ran its winning streak to 11 matches with a 3-0 (25-9, 25-21, 25-23) sweep at Valley City State University Friday night in North Star Athletic Association at Graichen Gymnasium. 

Kealy Kiviniemi was named the NSAA Attacker of the Week. Mila Aiwohi was honored as the NSAA Setter of the Week, and Taylan Keefer garnered NSAA Defender of the Week accolades. 

The eighth-ranked Bellevue University volleyball team dominated previously undefeated and second-ranked University of Jamestown on Saturday in North Star Athletic Association play at the Gordon Lozier Athletic Center, sweeping UJ 3-0 (25-15, 25-17, 25-19). 

Sophomore outside hitter Aspen Meyer tied a career-high with 11 kills to lead the eighth-ranked Bellevue University volleyball team to a 3-0 (25-10, 25-18, 25-21) sweep over visiting Dickinson State University Friday night in North Star Athletic Association action at the Gordon Lozier Athletic Center. 

Junior Kealy Kiviniemi produced 18 kills, including six in the final set, to help the eighth-ranked Bellevue University volleyball team earn a 3-2 (20-25, 25-22, 26-24, 13-15, 15-9 victory at (RV) Dakota State University in North Star Athletic Association action Thursday night at the DSU Fieldhouse. It marked the second five-set win over the Trojans this season.

For the second time this season and the third time in her BU career, sophomore Mila Aiwohi has been named the North Star Athletic Association Setter of the Week for her performances in last weekend's Marvel Classic, hosted by Bellevue University.
