Galas named NSAA Setter of the Week for 7th time

MADISON, S.D. -- For the seventh time this season, sophomore Olivia Galas has been named the North Star Athletic Association's Setter of the Week for her performances in the Bruins' three matches last week. It marked the 13th time in her career she has won the weekly award. 

Galas averaged 11.75 assists and 2.5 digs per set in the three matches. She also added 12 kills, eight blocks, and four service aces. 

In BU's 3-0 sweep over 16th-ranked Montana Tech, Galas recorded 44 assists, nine digs, six kills, two service aces and a pair of blocks. 

She notched her 11th double-double of the season, with 43 assists and 12 digs in the Bruins' four-set victory over John Brown. 

Galas currently ranks first in the NSAA and ninth nationally with 10.73 assists per set. 

Bellevue returns to conference action this Friday, Oct. 18, when they travel to Dickinson, N.D. for a 4 p.m. match at Dickinson State University.
