POINT LOOKOUT, Mo. -- Led by sophomore middle blocker Coree Lipovsky, the 22nd-ranked Bellevue University volleyball team defeated College of the Ozarks 3-1 (25-16, 25-15, 20-25, 25-20) Thursday night in non-conference volleyball action at Keeter Gymnasium. 

With the win, the Bruins improved to 10-2 on the season. COFO fell to 3-4 overall. 

Lipovsky finished with a match-high 13 kills, to go along with five digs and a solo block. Sierra Athen pounded nine kills, with eight digs and a pair of service aces. Andrea Carson provided seven kills, eight digs, and a block. 

Sophomore setter Olivia Galas dished out 39 assists while adding four kills, five digs, three blocks, and two service aces. 

Sidney Craig (11) and Paige Holdsworth (10) combined for 21 digs to anchor the BU defense. 

The Bobcats were led by Abi Menzies' nine kills, three digs, and two blocks.  

After cruising to comfortable wins in the first two sets, the Bruins hit .000 in the third, dropping the set, 25-20. BU trailed 5-0 in the fourth set, before an 11-point serving run by Riley Burcham helped spur the Bruins' to the decisive 25-20 victory in the fourth. 

The Bruins will travel to Fayette, Mo. on Friday for a 5 p.m. contest at No. 17-ranked Central Methodist University.
