LA CROSSE, Wis. -- Second-ranked Viterbo University swept Bellevue University 3-0 (25-16, 25-15, 25-16) Thursday night in the Bruins' regular-season finale at the R.W. Beggs Senior Gymnasium.

Bellevue, ranked No. 22 in the latest NAIA top 25 poll, fell to 26-10 on the season and 11-5 in the North Star Athletic Association. Viterbo improved to 30-1 on the season and 14-0 in league play. 

Junior Shayla Scanlan led the Bruins with nine kills on .318 hitting, while adding two digs and a block. No other Bruin managed more than three kills. 

Sophomore Maddie Squiers recorded her team-leading 15th double-double of the season, finishing with 18 assists and 13 digs. 

Senior All-American Natalie Geidel paced the V-Hawks with 19 kills on .469 hitting while adding a match-high six blocks.  

The Bruins will be idle until next week's NSAA Tournament. Pairings and site announcements will be made on Monday, Nov. 6.
