BALDWIN CITY, Kan. -- Sophomore Rachel Wald finished with a team-high 14 kills and sophomore Lauren Colpitts added 11 but it wasn't enough as the Bellevue University volleyball team fell to Graceland University in four sets on Saturday afternoon.

For the third time in as many matches this weekend Bellevue won the opening set, this time by a 25-18 margin, to go up 1-0. However, the Jackets responded with victories in three straight (25-14, 25-20, 29-27) sets to claim the match.

Senior Beth Walker directed the offense with 38 assists and added eight digs defensively. Sophomore Taylor Holz finished with a match-high 22 digs and sophomore Mikaylah Gillespie added seven kills for the Bruins.

Walker (.250) and Colpitts (.214) were the only Bruins to hit over .200 in the match as Graceland built a sizable .196-.097 edge in hitting percentage.

The Bruins (5-8) wrap up their trip to Kansas with a 7 p.m. match against host Baker University.
