Bruins sign Platteview High's Nolte

BELLEVUE, Neb. -- Bellevue University head women's soccer coach Tom White has announced the signing of Britney Nolte (Springfield, Neb./Platteview HS) to a letter of intent to continue her academic and athletic careers at BU beginning next fall.

The daughter of Chad and Sherry, Nolte comes to Bellevue from Platteview High School where she has totaled 23 goals and 20 assists through the completion of her junior season.

Nolte plays her club soccer for the newly formed Midwest Premier Academy and coach Digger Hawkins. She helped guide her team to a runner-up finish in this fall's State Cup.

Coach White on Nolte:

"Britney will be an exciting addition to the squad as she will do whatever she can to help the team whether it is on the field or off. She thrives off working hard day in and day out and her determination to get better as a player is why we are excited to sign her."

Nolte joins earlier signees Emma Stock (Bellevue, Neb./Papillion-La Vista South HS), Sinai Bernal (Bennington, Neb./Elkhorn HS), and Jaycee Billings (Papillion, Neb./Gross Catholic HS) in the Bruins' 2020 recruiting class.

Bellevue finished the 2019 season at 6-6-3 and qualified for the A.I.I. Tournament in Lawrenceville, Ga.
