Three Bruins named All-Plains Region by NSCAA
Victoria Perez (first team), Jordyn Seidel (second team), and Reyvin Hernandez (second team) were all honored by the NSCAA
BELLEVUE, Neb. -- Three Bellevue University women's soccer players have been recognized as members of the 2016 National Soccer Coaches Association of American (NSCAA) NAIA All-Plains Region Team.
Senior defender Victoria Perez (Hollister, Calif.) was chosen as one of 11 first team all-region honorees. The recognition comes on the heels of Perez earning NSAA Defensive Player of the Year honors and being named first team all-NSAA.
Senior forward Jordyn Seidel (Fort Collins, Colo.) and sophomore midfielder Reyvin Hernandez (Omaha, Neb.) were each selected to the second team. Both Seidel and Hernandez were previously named first team all-NSAA.
The All-Region teams were comprised of players from the North Star Athletic Association, Great Plains Athletic Conference, Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference, and Central Christian College.
Bellevue finished the 2016 season with an overall record of 12-5-1 (3-1-0 NSAA) and claimed both the NSAA Regular Season and Tournament Championships.
