Bruins host Bethany (Kan.) in support of cancer awareness

BELLEVUE, Neb. -- The Bellevue University women's soccer team will wear pink in its nonconference match against Bethany (Kan.) College on Saturday, Sept. 28 to help promote cancer awareness.

"Our team is looking forward to playing for such a worthy cause," said head coach Andy Nicolarsen. "Cancer is a disease that affects so many lives and it is hard to find anyone that isn't impacted by it. We are honored to compete for the cause of beating it and hope to raise funds to support that effort."

All proceeds from the contest will go toward cancer research.

The Bruins are 2-4-3 overall this season while the Swedes are 2-4-0.
