Trio named WGCA All-American Scholars

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. -- Junior Allison Temple and freshmen Mikayla King and Tylah Saifoloi have been named Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholars in an announcement made today by the WGCA. 

A total of 1,401 women's collegiate golfers from NCAA Division I, II, III, and NAIA were recognized with the academic honor. 

Temple is majoring in Business Administration while King and Saifoloi are both Health and Human Performance majors. 

In order to be selected to the All-American Scholar Team, an athlete must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50. 

Despite seeing their season cut short due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, the Bruins placed in the top-five in all six tournaments during the year, including one victory and one runner-up finish.
