OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. -- With three of four scorers lowering their totals from yesterday the Bellevue University women's golf team took six strokes off their team score to climb three spots for a ninth place finish at the Susie Maxwell Berning Classic.

Team Recap:

Bellevue shaved six strokes off their first round score to finish at 640 (323-317) for the tournament. That saw Bellevue move up six spots on the leaderboard for a ninth place finish in the 19-team field.

Host Oklahoma City claimed the team title by a 16-stroke margin over Texas Wesleyan (585-601). Murray State CC (615), Oklahoma City "B" (624), and Wayland Baptist (631) rounded out the top five.

Kim Moore took a team-best six strokes off her first round total as she fired a 2-over 74 on Tuesday to finish at 10-over (154). She finished in a tie for 23rd place in the 109-golfer field.

Madison Brooks and Bri Stagge each trimmed a shot off their scores, posting identical 9-over rounds on Tuesday to finish tied for 53rd.

Allison Temple nearly matched her day one score with a second round 81 to finish at 16-over (160) for a tie for 37th place.

Murray State's Brooke Irion (144, E) took home the individual title edging Melissa Eldredge (145, +1) of Oklahoma City and Karly Kerrigan (145, +1) of Grand View by a single stroke.
