SAN ANTONIO, Texas -- Led by Allison Temple, the Bellevue University women's golf team tied for third place in the seven-team BU Spring Break Classic played at the par-73, 5,890-yard Olmos Basin Golf Course.
Temple carded a 9-over 82 on Saturday and finished the tournament at 12-over par with a 36-hole total of 158. She placed fourth overall in the 40-player field. Temple finished the tournament with five birdies.
The Bruins' team total of 668 (331-337) tied them with Oklahoma Wesleyan University for third place. Lubbock Christian won the tournament with a two-day total of 654 (320-334). The University of Houston-Victoria finished second with a 660 (329-331) total.
LCU's Bailey Rowley and St. Thomas' Kari Thorn tied for first in the individual standings at 8-over par.
