LINCOLN, Neb. -- The Bellevue University women's golf team slipped into a tie for 14th place after the third day of competition in the 27-team NAIA National Championships Thursday at the Wilderness Ridge Golf Course hosted by Doane College.

Oklahoma City University is in first place with a three-day total of 920, 10 strokes ahead of second place British Columbia University.

Jessica Schiele (Oklahoma City) is the individual tournament leader after posting a 54-hole total of 217 (+1).

Maria Saavedra shot the Bruins' top round of the day with a five-over-par 77 to place 21st overall.

Renee Santoyo finished with a seven-over 79 for the second-straight day and has a total score of 239 (81-79-79).

Natalia Soria fired an 82 on the day and has a three-day total of 241 (78-81-82).

Christina VonRiesen notched a third-round score of 83 for a 54-hole score of 245 while Izzy Hernandez rounded out the Bruins' scoring with an 83 for a 251 (83-85-83) total.

The Bruins will tee-off tomorrow (May 24) in the fourth and final round starting at 8:15 a.m.
