Leon Kita enters his first season as an
assistant on the Bellevue University men's soccer coaching staff
after a standout career with the Bruins.
A four-year starter in the Bruin backfield, Kita was named the MCAC
Defensive Player of the Year in 2009 after helping anchor the BU
defense which registered 10 shutouts. Last season, he earned second
team all-MCAC honors while scoring three goals.
An excellent student, Kita was named a MCAC Scholar-Athlete all
four years and earned a degree in sports management.
