Bruins wrap up UMobile Classic with loss to Thomas

ORANGE BEACH, Ala. -- Ben Martin made seven saves in goal but it wasn't enough to slow down a potent Night Hawk offense as Thomas University defeated the Bellevue University men's soccer team 6-0 on Sunday afternoon.

Jarrod Ingram scored a pair of goals for the Night Hawks while Jack Chambers and Severin Abt each added a goal and an assist for the attack. Jesper Svall and Gavin Rochford-Smith also scored and Leo Thompson and Antonio Rodriguez assisted.

Thomas scored in the game's third minute on their way to taking a 4-0 lead into half.

Andres Blanco recorded three shots and Daniel Coupland added two for the Bruins. Amador Rangel and Travis Hurd accounted for Bellevue's shots on goal.

Bellevue played the final 29:10 with 10 men.

Thomas held a 21-7 advantage in shots in this one. Lee Howarth made a pair of saves to preserve the clean sheet.
