LEMONT, Ill. -- The Bellevue University men's golf team ran away with the team title Tuesday at the Flyer Intercollegiate being played at the 6,855-yard, par-72 Cog Hill Dubsdread Course. The 36-hole tournament was hosted by Lewis University. 

The Bruins won the 19-team tournament, which featured 12 teams from NCAA Division II, by 22 strokes. 

BU finished with a team score of 5-over par (581) after carding a team total of 6-over 294 in Tuesday's final round. Cedarville and Roosevelt tied for second place at 27-over par (603). 

Rodrigo Navarrete finished in second place in the 108-player field at 1-over par after firing a 3-over 75 in today's second round, coupled with Monday's 2-under round of 70. He had two birdies on the day.  

Alex Zillig tied for third place after equalling his opening round score of 73 to finish at 2-over par for the tournament. Zillig was consistent throughout the day, finishing with two birdies, three bogeys, and 13 pars.  

Floris-Jan Oosterhof shot a 2-over 74 and finished 3-over for the tournament, putting him in seventh place. Oosterhof's round was highlighted by three birdies.  

Baptiste Bonnet shot BU's top round on the day with an even-par 72. He finished at 5-over for the tournament and in a tie for 10th place overall. Bonnet registered three birdies, three bogeys, and 12 pars in today's round.  

Hugo Ronnberg tied for 10th place after carding a 6-over 78 on Tuesday, to go with his 1-under total in Monday's first round.  

McKendree's Phasin Vichitcharoenpaisarn won the individual crown at 1-under par with rounds of 71 and 72. 

The Bruins will travel to Noblesville, Ind. on Oct. 8-9 to compete in the Indiana Wesleyan Fall Invitational being played at the Purgatory Golf Club.
