MADISON, S.D. -- For the second-successive week Bellevue University junior Floris-Jan Oosterhof (Zwolle, Overijssel, Netherlands) has been recognized at the North Star Athletic Association Men's Golfer of the Week, as announced Wednesday afternoon by the league office.
Oosterhof picked up his first collegiate tournament victory over the weekend at the Ryerson Fall Classic, shooting a 3-over 147 for the event to claim a one-stroke victory over teammate Lucas Leinen.
In claiming the individual title, he helped guide the Bruins to their second team title in five days with a team total of 608, 32 strokes better than host Central College.
Oosterhof began the tournament, which was played at Bos Landen Golf Course, with an even-par 72 on Friday. He followed up with 3-over second round score on Saturday.
The Bruins next travel to Silvis, Ill. for the NAIA Fall Preview which will be held Monday-Tuesday, Sept. 28-29 at TPC Deere Run.
