OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla -- Junior John Matthews shot a 3-under par 69 for a two-day total of 4-under 138 to lead the Bellevue University men's golf team to a second place finish at the Southwestern Christian University Invitational at the Lake Hefner Golf Club. 

The Bruins finished with a two-day total of 574, 11 shots behind tournament champion Oklahoma Baptist University which shot a 563.

Fellow MCAC opponent Central Baptist placed third with a 575 total.
