MADISON, S.D. -- Senior guard Jaron Dickson has been named the North Star Athletic Association men's basketball Player of the Week in an announcement made today by the league office.
Dickson scored 10 points, grabbed nine rebounds, dished out five assists and stole the ball twice as Bellevue kicked off its home tournament, the Fairfield Inn & Suites Bruin Classic, with a 91-82 victory over the College of the Ozarks (Mo.). He was 3-of-6 from the field (all three-point attempts) and 1-of-2 from the free-throw line.
The Bruins will host Graceland University at 7 p.m. tonight in the final game of the Fairfield Inn & Suites Bruin Classic.
