Adam Steyer is in his fourth season as an
assistant coach on the Bruin baseball staff. Steyer’s
responsibilities include recruiting, advanced scouting and scouting
reports. Steyer’s on-field duties focus on working with the
infielders and hitters.
Steyer graduated from Millard West High School in 2001. He was a
standout athlete for the Wildcats in baseball, basketball, and
football. He earned first team all-state honors in baseball and
second team all-state recognition in football.
Steyer coached baseball, basketball, and football at Millard West
upon his return to Omaha in 2003. In 2006, Steyer’s under-17
American Legion baseball team won the Nebraska Class
“A” State Tournament.
Steyer serves as manager of the Chillicothe Mudcats of the summer
college MINK League with former Bruin Assistant Coach Chris
Emanuel. Under Steyer, the Mudcats captured the league
championship.
